Official Press Release by Cantieri di Baia On last November 15th in the beautiful context of Naples, the CEO Antonio Capasso and Roy Capasso marketing director of Cantieri di Baia showed to an exclusive parterre of international customers and media the newest Baia ONE HUNDRED. This superyacht will become the new flagship of the just considerable fleet: a maxi open of 31 meters of length and 7,34 of beam. The boat is a feather in Baia’ s cap and also for all Neapolitan nautical industry. In fact this is the first superyacht built in Campania by a Neapolitan shipyard. Cantieri di Baia is very proud to invest in one’s territory carrying out a total quality product completely made in Naples with a wallet for 24 millions of euro and in according with this policy Cantieri di Baia decided to show the boat for the first time in own territory. This project was conceived to show the evolution of Baia’ s classical line, traditionally characterized by fast “Open Cruiser” models that combined a strong sports nature with internal and external layouts made to guarantee top comfort. The keel still features its peculiar shapes that favor propulsion with surface propellers coupled to Arneson Drive systems, whilst maintaining easy handling and efficient performance even in rough sea. The principle behind this open yacht, totally living and accessible, with no boundaries between the stern and the bow, has been extremely pushed in this project signed by Carlo Galeazzi for the design, Alberto Ascenzi for the engineering and Cantieri di Baia for the concept. ONE-HUNDRED has a main deck, which is completely free and accessible: transit from stern to bow is direct. The doors on all four sides of the deckhouse (including the stern) make this area seem even more spacious also thanks to the broad windows. The brightness is another plus of this project, thanks to the windows on the hull and the deck house structure, covered by a crystal surface, in complete harmony with the open yacht concept. The very slim windshield, frequent solution of Baia’s range, leaves much more spaces at the bow to create a dining/living area . At stern as well there’s a second living area nearly covered by the hard top equipped with spacious sofas, a lot of seats, a dining table and a central mobile with a large flat screen television. Forward we find three comfortable seats for the pilot and the two co - pilot. The captain gets a very comprehensive helm with excellent all - round visibility. Astern is obtained a big crew space with two double cabin and two berths with private bath nearly the galley set up for big dinners. Forward there is the owner’s suite full beam , the two guest cabins and one vip cabin every each one with a private bath en suite, ça va sans dire. In order to guarantee high performance to 80 t of displacement have been foreseen 2 x MTU engine 2430 Hp with Arneson drive transmission, and with the optional engine 3 x MTU engine 2430 Hp with Arneson drive as well. It’ s also possible having 2 engine MTU 12v 4000m93 3510 hp. The top speed is of 50 knots.
